I operate three different kinds of pack trips starting in June and running until September:

The First is packing into a high lake in the mountains and setting up a camp for a few days of fishing with some day rides out of the camp for those who don't want to spend the whole time fishing.

The second is a progressive travel trip. This is when we take smaller tents and travel through the high country camping at a different spot every night. This type of trip gets everyone a little more involved with helping set-up camp, gathering firewood and helping with horses and other camp chores. There can also be some fishing on this type of trip.

The third kind of trip we do is to one or two large tent camps already set up in the La Garita Wilderness. These camps are complete with spacious wall tents with cots and stoves. We do day rides up over the Continental Divide or other high trails every day. There is also fishing for brook trout on these trips.
