Pack into a base camp located in a prime elk and deer area of the Gunnison National Forest. Experienced guides, along with a proven area, give our hunters a tremendous advantage on the trail to bagging that big buck or bull elk.

We hunt out of spacious heated tents - seperate ones for eating and bunking. The food is excellent and there's plenty of it. If you have never spent a night in a hunt camp, miles from the nearest town, you won't believe how warm, dry, and absolutely comfortable we make it for our hunters.

Our horses are excellent. They ride, pack, trail, and behave in any situation like the experienced mountain horses they are.

We hunt hard using a combination of stalking, riding, and waiting. Whatever hunting method you perfer, our guides team up with you for a productive hunt. Our success ratios are running quite high. 80% to 90% of our hunters have an opportunity to take a decent shot at a buck mule deer or bull elk. I think the excitement must be a little too much for some, because the actual kill ratio runs about 50-60%. But, that is why we call it hunting and not killing.

Reservations should be made early as we limit the number of hunters in each camp.
